Hunter of House Omari (2027)

After a mysterious fire destroys her childhood home, Exodus Omari moves in with her estranged uncle only to discover that her early memories have been robbed of her family’s connection to Black diasporic magic. To restore her mind and claim her rightful place in a gods-serving secret society of jujuworkers, she’ll have to face a host of magical trials and hone her newfound abilities, all before mysterious monster incursions spell ruin for her and her bloodline.

Hunter of House Omari is a Young Adult novel that takes an unflinching look at queerness, family, and what it takes to carve out your own place in the world.
