 Howdy! Here you’ll find the variety of copy written during my time at Books of Wonder for our weekly Events Newsletter. You will also find copy from my time at Penguin Random House for titles ranging from picture books to young adult, nonfiction to fantasy, award winners to New York Times bestsellers. Lastly, there are accolades from my dramaturgical work for stage and short film productions.

Event Newsletter

Notifies Books of Wonder community members of weekly events in-store as well as virtually. Encourages pre-order campaigns and yields high turnouts regularly between 30 and 50 attendees for a small, independent specialty children’s bookshop.

Picture Books

Target groups aged 3-7 years. Goals of product vary from teaching basic concepts to historical biography.

Middle Grade

Target groups age 9-14 years. Focus on concepts of personal identity, global geopolitics, while maintaining airiness and joviality that speaks well to the lighter tone of the work and the age demographic’s pallete for tension.

Young Adult

Target groups age 14 and up. More focus on gray areas of morality and difficult subject matter, making balancing the elements of escapism and harsh reality critical to holding this more critically minded demographic of consumer.
